In my opinion the KTM 1190 Adventure R is a great bike on and off road. As with any bike, modifications based on your riding style and region make it a better bike. (Me: 6ft, 200lbs) I live in New England so the “seat heat” issue is not a problem (I welcome it).

Another thing some, but few, reviewers mention and 790/890 Rs owners know is while the bike is unreal good off-road, it's also incredible on-road. Even on TKC80s, this bike will keep up most bikes/riders when the tarmac gets fun without feeling like a tall, lumbering adventure bike. 2.
